winner of the tournament.
BELhospice Director, Mr. Zoran Purkovic
thanked the companies and players who
participated, as well as those companies
that supported the organization of this tournament,
as they all helped the care of
patients suffering from cancer.

Cancer patients in Serbia, once specific
curative treatments are exhausted and released from hospitals, are often
left alone to themselves and to their
families to overcome all the problems
associated with their illnesses.
Terminally ill cancer patients are among
the most vulnerable members of our
society.
With the establishment of BELhospice in
2004 as the first charitable organisation
dedicated to specialised palliative care in Serbia,
those patients now have the ability,
through our home care, to achieve better
quality of life, as far as it is
possible in given circumstances. BELhospice is achieving this through active and holistic care that consist of
symptom control, including severe pain,
and of psychological, social and
spiritual support for both patients and
their families.

"In our corporate social responsibility,
which foundation is the care for people,
especially brings satisfaction the fact
that we participated in this tournament
and by doing so we helped an institution
like BELhospice that cares for
terminally ill cancer patients. We hope that even more companies will participate next year in this
charity project", said Mr. Marko Kolenc,
CEO of Adecco in Serbia.
This company, beside participating in
the tournament, will also help
BELhospice to recruit new doctors and
nurses in order to improve services for
cancer patients.

All palliative care services are completely free to patients and
their families, and entire work of
BELhospice is funded by donations and
charitable actions that we organise
during a year. One such action is this football
tournament.
See you next year in Kovilovo on our
fourth 5-a-side football tournament "BELhospice 2012"!
